Thanksgiving

I sit here at 2 a.m. and my mind suddenly turns to what I am exactly thankful on this special holiday. I love Thanksgiving. It is a time when people who love each other get together and break bread. I know that I will have alot of kids so that my holidays will be full of people.

So what am I thankful for:

I am thankful for my family. As crazy and beautiful as they are they shape me into the person that I am, they are my protectors.

I am thankful for all the friends I have around the world, they help me to know that no matter where this life takes me...I always have people who love me.

I am thankful for Ashley who lets me be me, and loves me, and her understanding of my ways knowing that I love her and that she is with me always. She is my cheerleader.

I am thankful for Katie. She let me safely explore the darker sides of my life and see the beauty in them, holding my hand. She holds me when I am my weakest. Together we are going to run through this life with iron will and fire in our bellies.

Im thankful for my newfound spirituality. My connection with God. Who let me be me knowing I would eventually come back to him on my knees at my lowest of lows and filling me full of love when I need to sleep.

I am thankful for having a President that I still believe in and know he will make a difference. For having him in his way to strenghten my convictions and giving me back my fighting American spirit.

I am thankful for the path that I am on for even in the down times I still am able to move forward knowing there is good in the end.

My prayer for this year is to be full of such a fiery spirit that I shine like the sun.

To go places in this world that change me.

To find love in the world and more importantly in myself.

To help people.

To write.

To be passionate again.

To feel better.

To make something of myself.

To finally find the courage to be my true self.

Love always and forever,

Robby
